I just booked a reservation online, and after all was said and done they say there is a $15 resort fee.

used to only be like $7

anyone know what it includes.

That is total BS that they only tell you after your card is charged.

I can't even remember how many times I've been to Vegas....somewhere around 8 or 10. The first time out, we never made it to Hard Rock and it was on the list....since then, I've somehow never managed to go to the Hard Rock when I'm in town....I will probably somehow not make it next week when i'm there!

I guess if it includes internet its not as bad since they usually charge $12 for internet access anyway. But if you do not use internet its a waste

Be careful with the honor bar as they no longer inventory it it is charged on motion or some shit like that.

Do not play football in your room and knock into the sucker it will cost you.

How exactly is that an honor bar ?

These fees are dishonest, IMO. The price should be the price ( like Golden Nugget, etc.) before the city room tax, so you can compare fairly.

I can accept charges for calls and internet.....don't expect that included.

$15 with local and long distance can be good for some people, but it should be an option ! Valet and pool towels as luxuries are pushing it.

Reminds me of Seinfeld when Puddy jacks Jerry with stuff like "key fee", "finder's fee" for on the lot, etc.

I wouldn't feel the least bit guilty stealing some towels or shit off of the maid's cart in a place with a resort fee.

I'm guessing that is for atmosphere/ pussy and not +EV gambling ?

I never stayed there but the place seemed cool to me.

of course, it is atmosphere, pussy, and mainly the fact that they play good music. nothing to do with gambling

Biggest racket in town the last while, there's a place I liked staying and they now have a 10 buck a night resort fee so I ask for the details, I said well that s all basic stuff we used to get anyway, they were embarrassed and couldn t really say much. I posted a list a couple yrs ago with all hotel details, Ill see if I can find an updated one

Yes, the music ( I included that under atmosphere). That can really keep me playing all night long into a -EV BJ game. The fun factor is worth something large, esp. in the circumstances you are presently in.

I take you as a very casual ( minimal) casino player that likes the fun of it, you bet sports to gamble not casino games.
