damn, sometimes I wish I was born earlier.

Led Zepplin was the first band I ever fell in love with.

I saw him in concert last month and also in 1989. His voice sounded fantastic and it was a great show. Though, showing his age, he re-started one of his new songs because he forgot the lyrics. I hope he lives and tours forever.

My father was cleaning out the garage recently and told me he found some stuff of mine. One of the things was the cassette Principle of Moments, a solo album by Robert Plant in the early to mid 80's! Others found were Genesis and Billy Squier.

who would have thought in his later years, one of the pioneers of rock, would team up with the queen of bluegrass, to a critically acclaimed album....its a much different sound for him, but still shows the talent....i think they won a total of 7 or 8 grammys for this collaboration, including album of the year, record of the year, and single of the year....pretty impressive.......this is one of the big hits

I am 54 years old. I remember when all these bands came on the scene. If anyone would've said in the late '60's that Mick Jagger, Keith Richard, Pete Townshend, Roger Daltry, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page among others would be performing into their 60's and people still wanted to see them, the odds would've been like 4 million to one. Everyone thought most of these guys would be in a drug-induced vegetable state well before they reached 30. Even some of the women..like the Wilson sisters, Ann and Nancy, are still rocking in their 60's...I think it's f-----g great!

Great musician....one of the most unique voices in music. I saw his "Tall Cool One" show, in the summer of 1989.....(or 88, can't remember!)...
