ANAHEIM, Calif. — Police say a man was hurt in a 20-foot fall while waiting to get on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride at Disney's California Adventure theme park in Anaheim.
The 20-year-old was treated for minor injuries at a hospital and released.
Disneyland Resorts spokeswoman Suzi Brown says the man was in a line on a staircase leading to the attraction Wednesday night when he climbed over a barrier on a second-floor landing, lost his balance and fell. His name wasn't released.
Police Sgt. Rick Martinez says the man was with friends when he put a leg over the railing, joked about the chance of someone falling over — then lost his balance and fell.
Martinez says there are some indications that the man had been drinking.
