There are still ways to deposit you just have to take the time to talk with each specific book.
In my opinion when the other forms of online gambling that doesn't include sportbetting is passed it is going to open the floodgates to make it easier to deposit again everywhere because they won't be able to keep up with what's what.
As for why some books won't transfer to BetPhoenix and vice-versa, I believe it could only be that a simple agreement has to be put in place as has been with the other books to do such transfers, and just probably hasn't been done yet.

I wouldn't read too much into BP not transferring with main books. A lot of halfway decent books transfer with nobody like SIA, Bodog, and many others. Even mega- book Bookmaker only transfer in, and effectively does not transfer out without raping you on fees. I think BP does transfers with Youwager.
BP did transfer with Matchbook, but no more....probably the money on deposit was flowing out 10X more to MB than the other way around ?
Personally I only use places that transfer freely with each other....like 5Dimes, Matchbook, Betjamaica....too much of a PIA to deal with places like SIA, Bodog, BP when you can't transfer freely. I don't want a check, deposit/ cash it, then send it right back via MG to another book just to rebalance accounts.
No transfers sort of keeps the money there ( BP). People have trouble depositing with MB so some deposit to other books and then transfer to MB later.
