Banned at Cocunut Creek and all Seminole properties (Hard Rock)

Fig and I went to Cocunut Creek last night which has been open for 7 days - he has gone every day so far - they are dealing a 6 deck shoe which I guess is significantly more advantageous than an 8 deck - Fig counts - we wait until the deck is postive and Wong in - in two minutes we drop 1500 and the shoe is over - we played 2 hands, insured a 14 and stayed on a 15 against a jack - new deck comes and we wait pretending like we're distressed over the 1500 - I'm smoking a cigar a drinking - deck goes + and we're back in - within seconds the pit boss says excuse me - tells Fig "your days over black jack are over here and all seminole properties including the HR" - he had his card up and not me - how about that - down 1500 in minutes and told to get lost - said we could play anything but 21 - at the HR I will literally ask him the count and out loud and no one ever gives a fuck and we've done that hundreds of times

You got pegged fair and square; accept it and move on. You should have at least played the new deck from the start; waiting a few hands is a dead giveaway.

It's just that they have never cared at the Hard Rock but at this shit joint they are like hawks - we didn't wait a few hands - we waited 2/3 of the shoe and looked at other tables for a while

Places are a joke. I am 86'ed from all Harrah's properties.

They proabaly give shitty pen to boot. What are the rules?

Why did you insure a 14 with a 10 up? I dont there there is an indice out there that calles for that, and that is a stupid play to use for cover, it eats up to much EV.

These places don't know how hard it is to pull a profit counting. Really, someone betting under $500 they should let fire away. Most make mistakes to eat up the small edge they have

Coast properties are a bit different then. I was booted from one Coast property and promptly went across town to another and asked for a comp and got it. Then, the Coast property that booted me sent me an email a couple weeks later asking me to stay on their property. Legally, that's all it takes for me to be able to go back.

I know a guy personally who works at the Tampa Hard Rock who does nothing but walks around and looks for card counters......He told me he gets paid actually pretty well for doing it too......

I know it is not simple to do but can someone explain the card counting technique short and sweet(if we are allowed on this site)? As I understand it every card is +1 or -1 and when the count gets favorable you have a better chance of winning, but not a certainty.....correct? So how is this cheating? That's like saying Kobe Bryant can not play basketball because he is to good and hits his 3 pointers at a higher rate????? no??

2-7 +1, 8=0 and 9-Ace is -1

keep a running count, devide that by the number of decks left which gives you the true count, this is where you place your bet. +4=my max bet, 10 times my unit size
