odds to win the AL

Oakland +10000

Angels +10000

rangers are slumping and they still have several games left against both those teams....if they end up choking and you had a 100 bucks on either the A's or angels (or both), seems like there'd be a great opportunity to hedge for a decent profit when the playoffs hit

Rangers will win the al west, imo. They are the best team from top to bottom.

This is one of those bets where there may be 'value', but the value is meaningless with a losing ticket.

true....but as a die hard ranger fan, having an open ticket at a 100 to 1 would lessen the sting a bit if they do blow it....i read somewhere else the other day when someone else was making the same play at +5000, and this was when the rangers had a 9 game lead....if the A's win tonight that would put them within 6 games in the loss column and i think +10000 will disappear pretty quick

problem is, i ain't got nowhere near the bankroll to make a decent hedge at $100....may throw a couple $10 wagers out there and see what happens

is this a decent bet?
