I was talking to one of my books today and wanted to make sure I was still good to cash out if/when i felt like it during football season. They told me i had yet to fax in a picture of front/back of a debit card I had deposited with a few months ago ( i haven't made any deposits in quite some time now). I told them #1 the card has expired and #2 i had the card stolen from me when my wallet was stolen in june when i was on a trip. So there is no way i can get the scans to send them for a deposit I made back in the day. They told me I need to get a letter from my bank saying the card was expired/lost and has been replaced.

I mean they clearly know the card has expired since i made the deposit, as you have to give the expiration date when making a deposit. Its not like I can do any type of charge back as the deposit was made months ago. Doesnt this just seem like bull shit in hopes that I wont request a cash out anytime soon?

that's why i stopped using that particular funding method....just a great big hassle....

much easier to use the cash method.....not that i'm setting the world on fire with my blazing fast cashout requests, but it's nice to know there won't be a great big hassle when the big day finally comes

similar thing happened to one of my friends at a book. cant you call the credit card company and get a history of all credit usage within the past 6-12 months? im pretty sure thats what he did, and the problem was solved pretty quickly.

That its for security reasons..., they alwasys ask for documents so they can prove its you.., its a hassle.., i understand, but also its good to know they try to make sure the customer its the one requesting the money

Also, if the card its stolen, when you ask for the replacement, you can sent that one so they have a copy of the same account number and not the full card number. The credit card account number is the fist 13 numbers of the car, the credit card number, is the full 16 digit number.

in my opinion, you shouldnt worry about that...

keep us posted

when you deposit they don't care if the card is stolen. but if you withdraw they all of a sudden do care. funny how that works.

I love how when something like this happens (often) some poster that you never hear from comes in with a reason "why"
