We just got back from Target (pharmacy) to get my wife's script filled.
I don't have medical yet, and normally the total is about $410.

We go to pay, clerk asks the usual "do you have insurance" question?

I'm like, "hasn't kicked in yet" (got a new gig) clerk says "I have a special employee pharmacy card, let me help you guys out"

Total: $91.00

She didn't have to do that.
Very clutch !

Not only that, their food prices are beyond incredible.

Very cool. You should consider writing a nice letter to her management. That's more of a 'good person' story than a 'good company' story, after all. But I do like target as well.

That crossed my mind, but she doesn't put her gig on the line for 2 strangers.
So, just to be safe, the manager gets a 'very professional and courtesy' letter from me, he doesn't need to know everything.

We got like the premium tuna there $1.00 (usually runs $1.89) at the big boy supermarkets.
Convience Stouefers (for when I don't want to cook) for $2.04, eggs for 1.29.
I have no idea how they undercut Stop and Shop and the others like that.

Yeah, of course no detail about that.

Just say that's shes always professional and nice and that she goes out of her way to help, is the reason you use target pharmacy, etc.

That's why I own 100 shares of Target. The food section and pharmacy are getting way better!

Target is also one of the most generous companies when it comes to charity. I think they donate something like 5% of revenue.
Anyways, glad you got the srcipt without losing your shirt.

The food section is great, you can't get fish, produce, or meat, the big boys got you by the balls there, but the canned foods, the frozen foods are a good 15 percent less than what you pay for at S & S or Shop Rite or Pathmark etc. etc.....

For instance, if you want the Stoufers, sometimes you can get a 4 for 10 dollar deal at the super marts, 2.09 everyday at Target.

You can everything at a Super Target. Great store, but not a lot of them.

I went there about a year ago and they didn't have the stuff I was looking for. Got in a bind at my regular grocery place that stopped stocking the kind of coffee I like. So I went back to Target and found everything I needed.

When I told the checkout lady, she said they recently re-did their grocery department. Much improved if you ask me.
