You can do it by phone or chat. Either way, just let them know you are looking for a way to reduce your monthly bill. They will most likely offer you some promotional rate for 6 months or so. That's what Comcast did for me and I am saving 50%. It was easy and fast. Took like 5 minutes on chat.
