dont like the play
i understand that on paper c.c. has been dominant and the yankees are a better team statistically than the white sox. Here is the issue i have. The twins won today and the white sox know they have to win to stay within the race = motivation. The sox have been playing good baseball at home-- danks is good at home and he is an extremely solid pitcher. I view this game as a let down spot for C.C. Furthermore, danks came off a bad loss last game he pitched to K.C. on the road-- i think he will bounce back pretty well today and pitch a solid game at home. He is also 2-1 lifetime verse the yanks and he only gave up 2 last time he pitched against them (not sure if it was in new york or chicago). The white sox are hungry and have a lot of young guys mixed with old leadership who want to play baseball --- and well the yankees dont. I just think the white sox win tonight. Call it a hunch-- call it a feeling i am just seeing a low scoring game where danks pitches a gem and they come out on top.
