Just this July I was in Vegas and they were taping a few Wheel of Fortune episodes at the Venetian. Tickets were free so we checked it out....
-If someone yells out the answers that puzzle gets thrown out, even if it was almost finished I assume. They warned about that a few times.
-they tape like 3-6 shows at a time over the course of a few hours. Most likely a weeks worth of episodes to be aired a couple months later. The one we were at with be televised Sept 20th, was taped in July.
It was actually pretty boring, we left after one set of contestants. Glad I went though, just to see how it went down. Kinda lame how they coach the audience to cheer and stuff like that, it's so phony.
