I know its a huge public/square play but so what? We are talking about Halladay here....when is the last time this guy lost back to back starts? and Kuroda has not won back to back starts since I believe May. Also the Dodgers are in complete shambles right now.

fuck it. I'm with the "squares" tonight. The Phillies offense has been HORRIBLE as of late...and you know what? they just continue to find ways to win, no matter what. You just can't fuck with something like that or fade it....with the best pitcher in baseball on the mound....this team knows this is the stretch run and has been there before, pulling games out when they need too. I'm not buying the "trap" :howdy:

If you really want a reason not to play them, I'll give you one...Brad Lidge.

Seriously though, it does look like a good play. It does bother me that Kevy is on the Dodgers though. He seems to always have a good feel for the late west coast games.

he def does. one of the best. in this situation if it was any other pitcher I would be on the otherside but Roy is different and like i said the Phils are just finding ways to win games right now...you can't fade that. also the line at Pinny is staying strong for the Phils.

I'm in, but to anwer your question, the Sillies have no O right now. That being said, I'll lay money with Doc more times than not, and you're right, I'm counting on "Moving Manny" the movie and the Dodgers owner's divorce blues helping our cause. Hell, it can't hurt. GL

the offense is what was keeping me off the play initially but Manuel has switched the line up, up. He's got Utley batting 2nd and Victorino and Ruiz in the 7-8 hole to extend the line up which I like for the time being...

hook...line....and sinker lol....oh well. funny thing is...not even like Halladay is getting touched up...he's getting ground ball after ground ball n some of em just finding the smallest of holes. meanwhile the Phils still don't have a hit. congrats Dodger backers.

ya this one is over. as bad as the offense has been..like I said they have been finding ways to pull games out....but tonight its really bad...still no hits through 5. they are toast.

lol unbelievable. for the Mets Barajas has not hit a home run...let a lone a freaking base hit since like May now he comes to the Dodgers and is completely on fire and has like 3 home runs in 3 games.

Kuroda was 0-45 on the year and just got his first hit off Halladay. pretty much sums up the night. what if he got his first hit all season and throws a no hitter in one night?
