no but really in all honesty as much as I have been calling them frauds all year long and I thought they would collapse....I don't think this is it and believe they will be fine. who knows though..maybe just as they turned me into a believer they are going to bite me in the ass! :lol: Latos -130 tomorrow seems like the trap game of the day. Zona LOVES that hard stuff he features. they have scored 49 runs in their last 6 games and counting....that is sick.

OMT is licking his chops now-------------------------Padres aren't going anywhere except to the playoffs and winning the division, they need to get Correia out of the rotation, LeBlanc sucks on the road, great at home

Latos is the greatest thing since slice bread, Garland has been solid this year, Richard has been solid too (Latos, Garland, and Richard will be the playoff starters)

Heath Bell and Stauffer are elite, along with Adams, Thatcher, Frieri and Mujica, great bullpen

this is their longest streak of the year losing which was bound to happen sometime, might as well get it out of the way now

dude. the Rockies are right on Giants/Padres tail. if they win tonight they will only be 1.5 games out in the wild card behind the Giants....but still trailing Philly.

Cory Leubke to debut friday for pads. Next big thing in SD for sure. We will see how he does. Will most likely force either Correia or LeBlanc out

That is a relief. Correia is a coin-flip at best when he takes the mound. LeBlanc I can at least trust at home, (not so much on the road) Hopefully, Leubke gets it done Friday.

they will not recover from tonights loss. had two chances to get setup to get out of the inning and botched two consecutive double play balls.

Giants or Rockies will take over this division in the next 2 weeks. Pads are left for dead after tonight.

not for long. IMO Rockies are going to win this thing. amazingly they are within 5.5 games and a chance to pull with 4.5 tomorrow with plenty of games left. I'd hedge your Padres future with the Rox.

ithe Padres paid for the futures ticket (not a big play since the odds were big 7-1 and 15-1) on a few games for me when I played them in early August so I'm letting it ride out since I'm playing with the money that they provided for me, I thought it would be a fun ride to jump on a team that every expert on TV picked to finish dead last, It has been alot of fun so far, a few weeks ago they couldn't lose, now they can't win, great roller-coaster ride

I don't even see odds on the Rockies to win the NL Pennant at a few books (I guess the books don't give them a chance right now although that could change)

alright I found one that says Rockies 22-1 to win the NL Pennant, some books haven't put them in yet though, others don't even offer division or stopped offering it, depends on the book which there are plenty of

10 straight. the Rockies are only 4.5 out. and they get Padres for 3 at Coors Field soon. love Colorado to win this division. their pitching is just outstanding right now. churning out quality start after quality start.

Rox always get hot in September, CarGo is really heating up as is Tulowitzki, I think of the 3 teams, padres, rox, and giants, the Rox are the most likely to win the division now.
Sad cuz I really like the Padres and how they grinded out so many wins early in the season, but to me if I had to guess it's gonna be Colorado, Philly, ATL, and Cincy in the playoffs.
