I'll stay away from it, tho I dont think they get swept - wouldnt surprise me. I think reds, phils, and iffy about the cubs game. the pirates and cubs matchup I just can never pull the trigger on. Seems to fool me when I do it, then when I sit back and watch, my pick wins. I would have picked the cubs over the pirates last nite, and the pirates bombed them. These pirates, i'll tell ya. Strange team with some young talent that have a bright future ahead of them. Especially that 2B Neil Walker, good stuff!
hahaha kemp, i just saw that - even more reason to stay away from this, with their worst pitcher on the mound, with the pitcher with the worst time in houston on the stl staff. STL is just overrated I think and I took a bet on them too many times this year feeling suckered into the whole they are so great analogy.

You say that with confidence about pitt. One day they can outslug anyone, another day they can get outslugged. It's weird. None of their pitchers are spectacular but on any given day, they can give u a chance to win or compete with anyone, except that charlie guy. and from reading on here, most seem to wait to see what the weather is going to be in chicago with the wind speed. I dont think STL will get hot, they won't catch the Reds, Reds have caught fire after getting swept by the Cards and after sweeping the Reds the Cards have been cold as ice. THey still have a shot at the WIldcard but honestly, fuck STL they aren't going to do shit in the playoffs. If I had my choice the playoff teams would be San Diego, BRaves, Reds, and Giants/Phils/Dodgers with the preference on the Giants. I want to see some new blood in there.

I just checked the lines, and -185 for chicago. Yeah thats high despite gorz bum holding his own down for 0 runs and 4 hits allowed in 5 innings the last time out vs pitt, in chicago. He did get knocked around before that in chicago in 5 innings for 5 runs on 9 hits. Tells me pitt can score and knock him around only in 5 innings alone, and he wont last more than that most likely. The weather factor just scares me. But Im loving the dog, pitt at + 175, wondering if that could go up or would it go down in the next 8 hrs or so
