very hard to choose just one. on any given performance any song can be outstanding.

terrapin station(live)...especially when they play the whole song thru....listening to shakedown street(album) rite now..and sipping on some makers mark....and yes i am a dead head!!!...cheers

see, out of the woodwork. first guy I thought was SportSavant when I started this thread, how can you not... Anyway, those Terrapins can be magic, how about a inspired dark star! I totally agree on anygiven night, I'm askin' just one...

found out about this lil blue pill called 'mescaline'..circa 1989....parking lot of nassau colliseum...14 years old....later found out they manufactured yellow mesc...blue's were so much better!!!...and learned sometimes the parking lot was cooler than the actual show going on inside the stadium/arena....

oddly, despite loving the dead, ive never been a "hippy" per sea, always been a clean cut "preppy" style guy.... sometimes i must of stood out like a sore thumb at dead concerts!

ahhhhh those were the days.

speaking of which further is playing here at the hard rock in Vegas on Sept 23

Never been a true dead head. Saw them once in Chicago circa 1972 with the New Riders. Always been partial to Wharf Rat.
