BetPhoenix wants account # and password for cashout????

Recently I opened a new account with Betphoenix. I haven't gambled online in several years since the new restrictive laws in the USA, and never had to provide both account number and password to withdraw money.

It seems suspicious. By doing so wouldn't this open a door for a betphoenix member to screw with my account, place bets, et cetera?

Or is this the way it is done to cashout?

Betphoenix is solid. I wouldn't worry about giving them info if they ask. It's just a security measure.

Most books want this if you even just call up with a question.

I have no problem with BP wanting this info, it is needed.

This is the norm, and BP is like Jake said, rock solid.
Richard posts here often.

How do you make a withdrawal if you don't give them both. How would they know who the fuck's account it is?

If it is not needed to ask a question, i'd protest against giving it.

Years ago Pinnacle once asked for it via email & i refused. Things worked
out anyway. They didn't need it.

The other day i called BF and was only asked my username, not password.

I agree it is not needed for a general question.

It is needed for a question specific to your account, for example if you question something like why no action on a baseball total ( many don't know the rules), then you find out there was a pitching change...and then understand why.

Many books just ask for your password on routine calls, I often say I don't have an account yet.

What do you think of this bank practice X ?

I get a check every month from my neighbor because I sell him internet access and cable TV. I take the check to his bank to cash it, they want two forms of ID from me.....

DL
credit card

they then write that info on the check. I think that is totally unnecessary since it is their check. I can see visually checking it, though.

Since when is a CC considered ID ?

If it is a standard practice now, it must be a recent thing, because i've been
around for decades and it never was before. Not in Vancouver, anyway.
