Once again the horrible personal foul rule decides a game.

Player comes up, makes a great stop with 2 minutes left to keep the runner half a yard short of a first down. Ref calls him for helmuts hitting. What is he supposed to do? Just let the guy run 3 xtra yards and win the game.

It's ridiculous.

I can see hitting the QB in the back of the head when he is blindsided.

I can sort of see hitting a receiver who is in the air (as you have to jump yourself to reach his head).

If a RB puts his head down, what the hell is the defense supposed to do?

the call didn't cost them the game its the other little things that did.missed xtra pt,2 pt conversion muff,could not stop nw qb.yea the call was not the right one but it did not make them lose the game.i had nw and i lost the game on poor 4:00 defense.same old nw team,don't give pts with them this year

Didn't see the play, but I see it happen allot. Refs extending drives of arbitrary calls happens way too much, IMO.





your right tiger,but they lost the game on their own not by the refs

i still think college football is less gay than the nfl....i saw plenty of hits today that will be penalties come sundays

And they are wildly inconsistent. Makes you wonder about refs and gambling of course.
