I've always felt that the three best home field advantages (regardless of the teams actual record at home or otherwise)
are Colorado, Arizona, and Texas. Have seen all three of those teams over the years win games against pitchers and or
teams that they probaly wouldn't have won at the other teams park or even a hypothetical neutral field somewhere. The
linesmakers know exactly what they are doing with lines at those three parks. There all such hitters parks that anyone
can go into those places and lose with their ace or upset the home teams ace.....(Ubaldo, Cliff Lee, etc).
absolutely. I know this going to be a huge square play but I am thinking the fact that this same exact match up played out last week (Lincecum Enright) with the Giants losing 6-0 and Lincecum getting torched...might push some of the squares on Zona.
not sure if I will be playing this game yet.
wtf is up with this line? Lincecum seems to have regained his form after his last start and Enright is one of the biggest imposters in the NL.
guy has started 13 games and has allowed more than 2 runs only twice. He has a 2.45 ERA and 1.19 WHIP. now I've not seen him pitch but why do u think he's an imposter :think2:
not being critical of your statement and u may be right but would like to know more about why you think it
sometimes a line like this has to give you pause and say "is it too good to be true?" seems like sf is going to be a very public play. timmy struggled in a start earlier in season in az giving up 5 runs in 5th inning i believe.
liked az with fishy number and langer on sf seals the deal for a small az play.
gl to all.
IMO the line is the way it is cause it is fresh in squares minds that Enright just shutout the Giants while Lincecum got lit up. They are thinking 'omg Enright just shut the Giants out and is now plus money, I'm all over this bad line'
he has an xERA of 4.82 and a 85% strand rate. Also a very low 37% ground ball rate at a park like Chase Field is very dangerous. that strand rate will not stay at 85% for long...those runners will begin cashing in. the warning signs are written all over the wall.
