Survivor pool - never seen a tougher 1st weekend....

This has got to be the hardest opening weekend ever for a NFL survivor pool. The only pick I see out there is Tennessee Titans. If they get beat, you might see a week one winner in some of these things!

You are right Viking, the matchups in this year's week 1 almost have no clear-cut favs, not to mention Week 1 is always tough & possibly the most competitive overall out of the whole year....

Thought the same thing myself. I took the giants. FYI i am possibly the worst survior pool player in the history of all mankind.

I agree. I took the Giants but I'm not at all happy about it. Still might change but I don't know who to.

my survivor weekend is over. took new orleans last night.. a little closer than i would have liked , but thought they were the choice.

if i hadnt taken them , i'd probably look at the bears .

The pool I'm in on only lets you use a team once, I gotta save teams like the Saints until closer to the playoffs....(<)<

Same thing here. Toying with switching to Bears, but that game makes me nervous too.

agreed this week is very tough..i was leaning Tenn at first, but Oakland is improved and they beat a few good teams on the road last year. I finally decided on Chicago, I don't like Chicago but I figure the home opener vs Detroit should be a winner

we can only use them once too.. ours is only 16 guys and will probably be over by week 11 . i didnt mind using the saints so early.

toughest week i can remember, I went with TENN only because OAK is improved but still not good AND they are going across the country, best I could do

seeing as i have already won , i hope its as tough as can be on the other guys in my pool. i can see any of the teams mentioned here losing. hopefully they all do and i win after 1 week

Got to be the largest and toughest survivor pool in the world that you are worried about the playoffs.

Follow the formula:

1) Never pick a road team

2) Stay away from divisional games

3) Don't pick a team on a long streak winning or losing (This will apply as the season progresses)
