Do post season stats count ( towards career) in MLB ?

should they ?

seems to me they should count stuff like hits, HR's, wins, etc.

a hit is hit, even more so in post season. Tough luck if you were good and played for shitty teams and never got the extra games ?

Post season stats are segregated from regular season stats in all of the major league sports

Should be noted that in MLB, there have been a few seasons where a 163rd game was needed to break a tie in the standings. That game is included in the regular season stat base.
