Funny Brandon Lang story

Brandon Lang use to come on the local sports talk shows and Comcast Sports Net Daily News Live in Philadelphia. He actually flew in to be in the studio to give his picks on the Friday afternoon shows. He interacted with Daily News reporters sometimes.

This year he was replaced Al DeMarco who apparently worked for the same tout company as Lang. On the front of their website it says Brandon Lang Fired? They then give a breakdown of his atrocious record saying the CEO Steve Budin terminated Lang's lifetime contact. They go on to say that Al DeMarco has replaced Lang. The funny part in all this is before the Daily News Live show comes on Brandon Lang is doing a commercial selling picks. CSN Philly is selling advertising to Lang despite his replacement being on the show. The whole thing is seedy.

Another interesting thing is the past few years Brandon was on the same panel and sitting next to current Philadelphia Eagle players who were on the show talking about an upcoming game. This was absolutely out of line and eventually was stopped. No one who is currently in the league should be sitting next to and talking to anyone who works for a sports tout business. I'm sure the players and CSN heard from the NFL about this. It's bad enough that touts should be sitting with beat writers for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Yeah amazing NFL players were able to sit down with him, but ever since that movie he has used it to his advantage.

Oh by the way Lane/Lange claims on his site and in general that he quit/moved on, not that he was fired.

Who knows....
