The new NFL rule this year for OT where they have to score a TD to win or the other team gets a shot... you like it?

I personally DO.... if the team wants to take a FG on the first possession then you at least for a shot to win it with a TD

how will this effect book lines if at all?

better than the shit they had....OT is a joke as is their replay system. Refs already 0-1 on instant replays for the season.

didn't know they had changed it

personally, i liked the old system better....wonder how many teams will go for a tie if they're down 3 and facing 4th and goal at the ten yard line.....

yep changed it this year... the team that wins the ball has to score a TD OR the other team gets a shot... it only applies on the opening drive ..

This is great all teams get a shot

better be 100% of them unless it's the end of the year and you've got nothing to lose....

i can't wait till the last game of the season, Team A needs a win to make the playoffs, Team B has nothing at all to play for, Team A kicks a field goal, and Team B comes back down and elects to go for the tie on 4th and goal at the 2....hell, i'd kick it just to be a dick

I would rather see each team get a shot from the 25, but this way is much better than what they had before.

Sudden death is fine, if it's TD's. FG's are a joke with nfl kickers. gain 40 yards and you win the game.

I like it also, but I read somewhere (might of been on this forum) that the team that wins the coin toss wins the game 53% of the time. ?? can anyone verify this?

I like this.
Play a full 15 minute overtime quarter, who ever is ahead after the 15 minutes, wins. if still tied, play a sudden death, first team that scores in the 'sixth' quarter wins.
