So up until now I was working a nice grave yard job, off at 7am which allowed me to cap sports in the morning. The only downside was that I often slept during the games, and didn't get to watch a lot of them. I had a good thing going though, usually getting my bets in between 8am and 10am pacific, always trying to beat that closing number.

Apparently I was doing too good of a job on the nightshift and have been promoted. So starting next week, I'll be working my new 5am to 1pm shift. My whole style of betting is going to change, and I've already started looking at new ideas, that I've already started tracking.

I've noticed that there are three times a day when line movements are huge. There's the overnight which is pretty constant. Then there's the 8am-10am, which is when Vegas opens for business. Usually around 10 movement dies off, then around 2pm things pick up again.

I've noticed that around noon, there are usually a few lines that will peak, and then begin drop at the 2 o'clock rush. Since I will be off at 1pm my new goal is to try to figure out which numbers have peaked and beat the 2'oclock movement.

I've already began testing this out as of the 1st of september, with about 2.5% ROI with about 40 plays in the MLB. I've been capping every game and usually try to single out games that I think are moving in the wrong direction then I pull the trigger at which ever one of my 6 locals is offering the best odds. I'm also thinking about trying this out in the NFL & CFB waiting till either game day or the night before, to make my play.
