it must, cause some of these books are relentless, and or despearate.

I will write a book off the 2nd time they call.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Just like a lot of spam that you see.One would think it doesn't work but it must because there are tons and tons sent each day.The same with pretty obvious scams and the such.

I can't believe that anyone would pay some jackass from the Las Vegas boiler room to give them a so called winning pick. I got a call 2 hours before Monday nights game and just hung up on the jackass. Then they called again a 1/2 hour before the game and I didn't answer the phone. They call out of the blue every 4 months or so.

Service plays and these cold call jackasses are for the gullible desperate stupid gamblers out there. If you even think about paying money to someone for a pick then you need to find a new form of entertainment.

My roommate in college started out at Smith Barney cold calling. He worked there for 3 years, got his CFP, partnered with a guy there, and built a portfolio. He jumped ship to UBS about a year ago and got like a 250k upfront bonus for bringing over 80% of his clients. He's making about 275k a year.

~All off cold calling
