Good day fellow gamblers! Excellent day for a wager! It has been a long baseball season! About 340 wagers and my fading Atlanta Braves! This is the first sports season I have ever started with a handicapping system (baseball) and stuck to that exact system all season long. No hunch plays, no home town favs(probably bet vs. ATL more often) Nothing but my 30 number system. By numbers , I mean stats. The reason I say this is because at this time of the baseball season, things change. Some teams pack it in. Others try next year's prospects.
At 200-140 it has been a good year. The thing to do now is find the teams, other than the playoff teams, that are still giving 100%. Some players give up. Remember betting on the Red Sox after Manny was on his way out. I watched that SOB take 3 strikes without even looking like he would swing the bat!
Any way, handicapping is more than just plugging in numbers, much to my dismay. How in the fock do the Pirates dominate the Cards? I am not abandoning my system completely, but have to be more selective on the games I do cap. The play for tonight is:
