Coming off an (0-1)(-1.00) evening losing with Philadelphia -1.5 (1-0). One play for today.

Thank you. No apology necessary and you never offended me at all. I was only doing my job when I warned our posting body of your on and off systems and for them to be careful. It was not meant to be personal and yes you and I have been freinds since we joined around the same time. In fact, I still recall many of our e-mails discussing handicapping and the many good runs you have had through the years. The SSI I knew didn't need all the ghosts or anyone to just handicap and let the results speak for themselves. I wish that person would return, but even if not, you have every right to post as you wish and I wish you the best of luck and still consider you my friend. I hope all is well with your wife and daughter and the convenience store is profitable. Also, I know you were a religious person and hope that your faith is still a strong part of your life. Come into my thread anytime. You're always welcome. Perhaps our posters wonder why I don't make too many comments in their threads. The only reason is that I don't want to show favoritism by posting in a few threads while leaving out others. I don't wish to hurt anyone's feelings but make my presence felt by being here in the trenches with everyone, just as I did when I first registered. I'm a gambler, not a guy that wants to hang out and talk in the Offshore Forum a lot. Take good care my friend and best of luck tonight! :toast:

yes i am still a religious person, still attending faithfully, although i make many mistakes and go "round and round" with the wagering thing... thx for asking about family.... my daughter is in 2nd year of college, first 2yrs completely paid for with money back... conveniece store business is still the same, long hours but pretty good money..

hope everything is ok (with you and yours), hope your health is holding up....

hopefully your giants can win this one tonight.... from the looks of the total, it may be a wild one..

Amazing how time flies. I remember when your daughter was in middle school. As for us, my wife and I, as has always been the case, are extremely close. Both getting older, as we are now both 62, and the aches and pains only increase. But on a good note, we now are collecting Social Security to go along with both our lifetime government pensions and full health coverage at minimal cost. We worked hard and are now reaping the benefits. When you get old, seems like half of what you talk about are which medications you're on. @)

As for the Giants, should be a very close race until the end. I just want to see them in the playoffs as I think they are a deserving team. What ever happens after that is gravy. As for tonight, I know the wind is gusting out to center field at about 20 mph, but still believe these pitchers will control the hitters regardless of the wind.
