From everything to yelling and crying to get you to call them.they use to be on everything from the pay to view to usa to whatever.....I had a buddy years ago that every sat would sit through all these shows with his gold-sheet.another thing to get your money imo and make his picks and then go on to lose money each weekend.ck

I used to love those guys. They could also be found on local radio on Sunday mornings. Haven't come across one of those shows in several years, though.

My guess it has something to do with the states gambling laws. It was encouraging gambling, kinda like cigarette ads getting pulled. I can remember 5 years ago when I first started betting sports, called Jim Feist's free pick line once. Damn guys called me everyday for a year straight after that. It got to the point where I would tell them exactly what the pick was, that they were trying to sell me haha.

Winning Edge was the name of the show....

Root is Founder and Chairman of Winning Edge International Inc. Since 2000, he has hosted Wayne Allyn Root's Winning Edge, a television show which promotes Root's sports handicapping operation. The show aired during the 2007 season on Discovery Channel on Saturday mornings, and featured analysis by Root, former NFL and College Football coach Ron Meyer, Big Al McMordie, and Chet Coppock. It has been aired in the past on Fox Sports Net, Comcast Sports, Spike TV, and Superstation WGN

Those shows were a hoot. I think Killa is right. They aren't on anymore because they encourage gambling. I never saw "the duke" on tv, but caught him a few times on the radio. What a voice on that guy. You would think they would have shows on the net. Great entertainment. Do touts still have 900 #'s?

Use to hear Linebusters w/Spike Measer every Sunday morning.

Always have a "guaranteed, parlay, lock of the day" if you would call in.
