imo, biggest waste of money out there with the 2 year plans.

got the fascinate from verizon, love that phone until i saw all the charges. 69.98 for 450 min talk unlimited data, then the 10 dollars in taxes, then the 10 dollars in surcharges. so that 70 dollar a month phone is really a 90 dollar month phone.

what i want to do is this. go to tmobile and buy the vibrant for 450 straight up. get a 1000 minute pay as you go card and just do the 29.99 unlimited data per month.

doing that gets me out of contracts, that 1000 pay as you go lasts a year, and then i only owe 30 a month.

Verizon and the Droid IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO IMO..CK

Sure is, if you like a robot talking to you from your pocket. Just kidding, I heard their really nice phones. Personally I stay as far away from Verizon as I can, horrible company to do business with in my opinion.

With these new phones, the bars of service showing on the phone aren't a clear indication of service. On Att's network when I have 1 bar of service my phone is still very clear.

I think you can only use those pay as you go cards on certain phones. that way they suck you into the contracts. IMO if it was that easy everyone would do that.

I'll tell you and everyone else on here how to save $50-$200 a month.

#1 Throw your GD cell phone away unless you need it for work.
#2 If you MUST have a cell phone for emergencies buy a trac-fone pay as you go phone.
#3 If you really must blab all day then buy 2 tin cans and a big roll of string. Sorry, no long distance calls with this method.

and if you decide to do the 29.99 unlimited data a month plan.....you def can't use a 1000 min pay as you go card. in order to use that you have to have a prepaid phone which connects to the prepaid t mobile network and I am pretty sure you can't connect to 2 networks from 1 phone...so I think your beat lol.

your right about needing a contract for tmobile data.

what ill probably do is just do the tmobile pay as you go. buy a 100 dollar card which is 1000 minutes. the 100 dollar card has a 1 year expiration.

or

i could get the vibrant unlocked and still use the prepay sim 1000 minute card. you are correct that i cant get tmobile data, but i will be able to get wifi data, which is better anyways.

only downside is i wont have the internet when im out and about. but i will be able to connect to wifi at home.

but then, why get a data plan if i can only use it at home? thats what my computer is for.

People are so picky nowadays. I've been happy with my LG Dare for quite some time.
