Nascar or should we say WWE

Man these little men in their toys are so funny at time.Acting like kids on a schoolfield ,how can anyone watch this crap is over my head at this time.And this coming from a person here that use to go to the races as a kid.Let these rednecks just go to the local wmca and put on the gloves and stop doing the bumping bs.They need to be dock several races every time this happen............

Archive DOVER, Del. -- Richard Childress Racing driver Kevin Harvick tried to show Denny Hamlin that you can move the tolerance of a Sprint Cup car with a bump from another.
Harvick rammed the No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing car twice in the right rear quarterpanel, then sideswiped him during the first lap of Saturday's practice at Dover International Speedway.

It was an apparent retaliation for Hamlin's comment on Friday that Clint Bowyer's RCR team intentionally violated NASCAR's tolerances by 60/1000ths of an inch with its winning car at New Hampshire, a week after being warned at Richmond the car was close to violating rules.
"He got into me on pit road before we went on the track," Hamlin said Saturday. "So I knew we were going to have to deal with some issues."
The governing body docked Bowyer 150 points Wednesday and suspended crew chief Shane Wilson for six weeks. RCR officials have appealed the fine, saying the illegalities could have been caused by a bump from another car during the race or the wrecker that pushed the car to Victory Lane after it ran out of gas. Bowyer's appeal is set for Wednesday.
Hamlin didn't agree with RCR's explanation, saying on Friday, "In the garage, everyone has known it for months. It's not two weeks old. This is something that's been going on for months. They've been warned for a long time, way before Richmond.
"This is not something that, 'Oh man, they just told us halfway after Richmond and going into Loudon that our car's wrong,' " Hamlin added. "They knew it was wrong way before that and I felt like they just, they wanted to get everything they could. What did they have to lose really?"
NASCAR officials met with both drivers while their cars were being fixed for the second practice.

"I spoke my mind [Friday] and felt like I said a lot of truth and a lot of times that's not popular with the teams that are involved," Hamlin said Saturday. "It's something I've always done is speak my mind. It's not always in my best interest to do that."
RCR owner Richard Childress said there were no team orders, but added, "We're all a good tight-knit group."
Harvick echoed that sentiment after the incidents, "[We're] a tight bunch. It's always been that way.''
"You can't win a pissing match with a skunk," Childress said. "You don't throw a rock if you live in a glass house."
Team orders or not, Hamlin seemed to expect his Saturday afternoon treatment.
"I had a hint," Hamlin said. "Their crew guys they stare and made little comments through the day, 'Good luck today.' "
Harvick and Hamlin, whose cars are parked next to each other in the garage, confronted each other with words and bumped chests after the incident.
"There was a lot of cursing. That's all that was really being said," Hamlin said of the off-the-track scuffle. "There was nothing really logical being said inside with the two teams. Nothing is ever going to come of it."
Hamlin, according to eyewitnesses, also got into it with RCR general manager Mike Dillon.
"I wouldn't even think of doing that to Mike Dillon," Childress said with a smile. "You are going after a bull if you go after him."
Cup series director John Darby and other NASCAR officials separated the drivers and talked to both before the second practice.
Darby told NASCAR spokesman Ramsey Poston that the issue was handled and no further penalties are expected, although that could change when the governing body reviews the weekend activities Tuesday.
Harvick is second in points, 45 behind leader Hamlin. Hamlin's car received damage to the right rear quarterpanel. Harvick had damage to his left nose and side panel.
Both used primary cars for the second practice.
"The thing is now is move on," Hamlin said. "We get our car fixed and we're obviously getting our speed back and our goal is to move on."
With the practice lap flap behind him, Harvick also seems focused on the Chase. When asked if he was concerned that tangling with Hamlin might affect his chances, Harvick shook his head no, smiling, and said, "Ran just as fast.''

Call it what you will, but the last two guys I would mess with in Nascar is Kevin Harvick or Tony Stewart both good guys but both will get all in your ass in a minute. They are sorta like old school racing do something stupid to me on the track and we will knuckle up after the race.

not a good product right now

Some of you guys will remember we had a really fun NASCAR contest about 6 years ago. There was a lot of interest back then. The last few years I've watched maybe 3 or 4 hours total. They are really trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Sucks now. Even Bristol doesn't sell out. And "The Chase" adds nothing IMO.

NASCAR racing is just as fixed as WWE as well.

How many times have there been cautions due to phantom track debris, especially when some of the big boys like Dale or Stewart or who have you are in the middle of the pack or in back of the pack?

i really think what kill nascar when they took it to the next level.All the damn nite races for tv and the rules change suck big time.too much overkill and all the cookie 1.5 miles tracks....But just like David Person said some time ago, he does not like the new nascar type races and i agree 100%,if you gave me tickets in the vip booths i would not go to one of these events now.Here in charlotte they will put up a large tv screen in one of the turns, larger than the one in dallas now to get fans in the seats.It use to be about good racing and they didnt need all these bs things to get fans to attend.When they took the july 4th races from early morning to nite that was a killer and that just a few bs moves nascar had pull.Nascar rest in peace............ck

Well what killed Nascar is when they started letting the SPONSORS say how things were going to be, just about like any and all sports now. There is so much $$$$ in sponsorships in all events today they get told what to do and if they don't abide by the sponsors their like we will take our money else where so to get the money they do as their told to do. You know just like NEXTEL/SPRINT is paying something like $750+ million dollars over 10yrs to just be the main sponsor of Nascar, so they pretty much got the upper hand on how things operate in Nascar.

So just like MLB-NFL-Nascar, etc... they have priced themselves out of business in a way to where the average Jo Blow can't attend the events any more because it's gotten to expensive to attend. I mean why should it cost $300-$1000 to go and see live events of any type, this why I sit my ass at home now and watch it on T.V.

I have never understood the allure or the attraction that people have to NASCAR
on any f*cking level. From the stupid looking shirts, hats, jackets that their fans
wear of their favorite drivers/sponsors to watching that boring sh*t on television.

About a million things I'd rather do with my time than watch people driving in circles for 4 hours. Have no idea how anybody enjoys it.

Go to the races it's all about the party and ta ta's, Like Rodney Carrington says Titties and Beer alot worth looking at and some you want to bury with a backhoe. Oh and there is probably some guys racing around a track.
