trying to get a hold of a relative in jail

whats the best way to go about this? i know hes in texas, not exactly sure where though (dallas area i think). honestly, not sure why i wanna do this, but its just one of them things that suddenly popped in my head within the past week or so and i havent been able to shake it. whats the best way to go about this? would rather not pay if i didnt have to, not even sure what i would do with the information.

Texas Dept of Corrections should have a search feature at their website for inmate names and locations (plus info on appropriate ways to contact)

Additionally, Dallas County jail system might have one as well

i tried this barman. the site doesnt really work. takes forever to load and says hes not in the texas jail when it finally does. im 100% sure hes still in jail down there.

Then I would suggest getting the phone number to the state of texas corrections office and calling them. I am 100% sure they can look it up for you.

What is he in jail for?

Once you do find out where he is, use the mail system. Unless your gonna visit.
I work at a juvenile detention center(prison) and nothing cheers these kids up like "Mail Call"

good luck, that inmate locator site was a joke for me I had to wait for my bud to call me. he is still incarcerated in the u.s. but according to that site he does not exist even though I have visited him recently. gl

exactly hybrid, the inmate locator site was a joke. im probably gonna try and call the texas doc today if i get a chance. ill let you guys know how it goes.

I'm sure your jailed relation would love a visit or even a piece of mail. I sure would if I was in prison !

I'm for executing most prisoners, but not those in on drug charges.
