Not joking here....If you're in that New Jersey, I bet it would be worth spending an afternoon checking with a half dozen (or less if you find what you want early) larger pawn shops. In today's competitive market, most will likely offer a 30 day satisfaction guarantee and the pricing should be more than on par with even the Walmart level for "new".

Your wishes are a bit tough for new, but you can come close at: Newegg.com

Is a used one an option? Do you only want a flat screen? Craigslist is a good place to look. With everyone upgrading to the LCD televisions, people are practically giving away their old ones. I am sure there are a few flat screens on there.

I was reading an article the other day saying that TV prices are going to drop over the next few months (if I recall they were saying like 10-15%). May want to hold off on buying until November/December if you can.

Take a look at the websites slickdeals.net and techbargains.com. Almost always some bargains there.

It's tough to go wrong with a Vizio as a second TV. I have one in the bedroom and the picture is almost as good as the one in the living room I paid much, much for. They have a reputation as being high quality for the price.

New Egg is the best for home electronics IMO, bought a new Samsung HD last year for almost half price and have purchased many other items over the years with no problems plus they ship very fast.
