Sport Spies previews the final game of a closely-contested NL West series between the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks and the division-leading San Francisco Giants.

At the time of this writing, the following Match Odds/Moneyline were available: Arizona (2.64, +164), San Francisco (1.58, -172) and the Total Runs is Under 7.5 Runs (2.04, +104) and Over 7.5 Runs (1.84, -119).

Arizona has lost both games in this series by a two-run margin and the club has dropped 11 of its last 13 on the road overall. The Diamondbacks are also trailing the season series with the Giants, 3-12, facing the third series sweep of the season. The club is 94-127 all-time in the series, including a 10-25 mark since 2009. Last night's pitcher Ian Kennedy had one bad inning in last night's contest, as the club fell 3-1 at AT&T Park. "At the time I thought it was a good pitcher," Kennedy said of his home run pitch to Giants outfielder Pat Burrell. "Obviously he's looking for that pitch. He's a good hitter for a reason." Arizona is a dismal 13-30 in day games this season and the total runs is 23-17 Over/Under in those contests.

Diamondbacks starting pitcher Barry Enright has produced an even 6-6 record and 3.73 ERA in 16 starts this season and the team has dropped his last four outings overall. Over that span, he has allowed 19 runs and 27 hits over 20.2 innings of work, while the team has been outscored by a 25-12 margin. The right-hander is 2-2 with a 4.54 ERA in seven road starts, surrendering eight home runs in 35.2 frames. In three lifetime starts against the Giants, Enright has compiled a 1-1 record and 3.79 ERA, as the San Francisco lineup has hit a combined .307 against him.
