Eagles -5.5 widely available at books like 5Dimes and Skybook -5.5 -105

Skins avg Points 18.7 27.7
Eagles avg Points Allowed 22.3 20.7
Head to Head (Since 2001)
Eagles lead 12-6-0
Yards Rushing Per game WAS 74.3 PHI 139.0
Yards Allowed per game: WAS 423.7 - PHI 311.3
Reasons I feel Eagles will win this one going away..
Redskins trying to win first two NFC East games for first time since 1995.
They Haven’t won two division games within first four games of season since 1991.
Michael Vick, NFC Player of the Month, makes third straight start.
His passer rating of 110.2 is second in NFL behind Peyton Manning.
Vick won only other career start against Redskins in 2006 with Atlanta.
Eagles WR DeSean Jackson has four TDs against Redskins, all 35 yards or longer.
Eagles DE Trent Coles third in NFL with 45 sacks since 2006. Listed as questionable but most likely will see action.
Eagle CB Asante Samuel had two interceptions in last game against Washington.
His 30 picks since start of ’06 leads NFL.
Philadelphia’s red-zone offense ranks first in league with seven TDs in
eight trips inside opponents’ 20-yard line this season.
Redskins rank last place in the league in 3rd down conversion percentage this season.
The Skins are also last in yards per game allowed on defense at 423 Yards allowed per game to date vs Dallas, Houston and St Louis. Yielding 325 yards per game
passing.
The Redskins' receiving corps is currently led by Santana Moss, Joey Galloway,
Roydell Williams, and Anthony Armstrong, with Chris Cooley at TE matched up against the speedy aggressive Eagle line-backing corps.
In 10 quarters of action, Vick has passed for 750 yards with six touchdowns and
no interceptions. Vick has ran for another 170 yards and one score.
Vick's stellar play in September earned him NFC Offensive Player of the Month
accolades.
With as hot as Vick is running, Washington will likely need a Pro Bowl-caliber performance from the six-time Pro Bowler McNabb to pull off the upset. Unlikely on road vs speedy, hard hitting and gang tackling Eagle defense.
McNabb helped Washington upset rival Dallas in the season opener, but the Redskins have blown second half leads in losses to Houston and St. Louis the last two weeks.
The Skins have also been outscored 46-13 after halftime this season. With this in mind, they could have their work cut out for themselves facing an Eagle offense that ranks ninth in the league in scoring and yards.
Head coach Andy Reid has certainly had a way to take advantage of porous defenses. Under his watch, the Eagles are an impressive 23-8 against the spread versus poor defensive teams allowing 350 or more yards per game.
The Eagles have defeated these opponents by an average of 9.7 points per game.
Watch for a young and fired up Eagles team to make the 2nd half a one sided affair and cover the 5.5 points goings away..
BOL to all, wil..
