The 3 team 10 point teaser (7 points in basketball) is a special type of teaser, also called a 'sweetheart teaser'. Because of the extra advantage given in a greater number of points at 10/12 odds, a tie (push) in this type of teaser will result in the wager being graded as a loss. Only point spreads can be placed in a sweetheart teaser.
