i go through phases when i watch tv. I usually find a show that interests me and then record all episodes and watch it until im sick of it. Two shows i have done this recently on are

The First 48 - The First 48 is an American documentary television series that airs on A&E. Set in several cities across the United States , the series offers an insider's look at the real-life world of homicide investigators. While the cinema-verite series often follows the investigations to their end, it usually focuses on their first 48 hours, hence the title.

ID Identification Discovery -Hollywood crimes, murder and forensic investigations. Investigation Discovery gives you insight into true stories that piece together puzzles of human nature.

I had two shows that would supersede most sportscasts.
'24' and L & O Criminal Intent.
'24' is gone, CI is overhahuled, so now nothing.

I don't really have time to watch nearly the amount of TV I'd like 'cause if I'm not working I'm watching sports, golfing, or hanging with my girl, but a few shows I make sure to catch each week are Two and a Half Men, Jersey Shore, and The Office. All three are comedies, gotta have that. I DVR "Las Vegas" (shown on TNT) but don't ever get a chance to watch it...

If I ever do find myself on a rainy day with nothing on watching TV I like Discovery Channel..."Swamp People" is awesome...

Definitely dramas. Most that I have downloaded that ran in the late 90s or early 2000s.

Just finished THE WIRE, and am now starting the final season of THE SOPRANOS. Don't watch much channels going today but HBO. But I watch It's Always Sunny, The Office, Dexter, Weeds, Boardwalk Empire, Eastbound & Down. Bout it besides sports.

My list for shows to watch though are as follows:

Oz
Deadwood
Rome
Final season of Six Feet Under
Mad Men

Love Oz, Deadwood, Rome, and Mad Men. Haven't got into SFU yet. I haven't seen more than 5 minutes of any episode, but it's a show that is definitely on my "Will Watch List"

Huge Sopranos fan. Show was awesome for a really, really long time. Have seen each episode at least twice...

Joey Pants's character is probably my favorite ever on the show. Though I am partial to Frank Vincent, Steve Buschemi, and Robert Loggia's supporting roles; that was a great, great season because of those guys + the writing

Shit, forgot Breaking Bad! Amazing show.
Its my favorite show, and it ended on one of the biggest cliffhangers I've ever seen.
