just think there is a lot of value in this play. As the Yanks keep getting bet up, I see this closing at +1.5 (-125 or even -120) and then I am going to nail it large.
don't know where the belief that Liriano is going to start issuing walks is coming from. He was dominant at home with a .239 BAA with a 108/28 K to BB ratio in 107IP. Take away his last garbage start that meant nothing and he only allowed 3 HR's all year at home. Take away the last 3 starts overall and he only allowed FOUR homeruns all year. This plays against the Yankees strength, which is "let's sit back and wait for the 3 run HR".
Why not take the Twins just to win then? I may lay a little on that as well, but this is to safeguard in case CC is just a bit better than Liriano and pitches 7-8 innings with the Yanks winning a 2-1 or 3-2 game.
