O.k. so i have a local bookie and have been playing with him for 3 weeks now and he has a system where you can call him for the lines or text him and you can bet by text,he says this way you have a bet ticket if theres any disputes. i have collected for the past 2 weeks and yet to have to pay him but im down a little (150 dollars for this week) and i try calling him and texting him over 10 times (every 5 minutes) for an hour before a game today that i wanted to bet 500 on (texas rangers) and he doesnt answer. So i texted him that i wanted to place 500 on the rangers 1 minute before the game starts and he doesnt respond,well we all know texas won today. SO i ask you guys what you guys think i should do when i talk to him?

This is a bad bad way of betting through text messages, because YES the cell phone provider can reveal what the text messages say. Years ago they couldn't but now days they can and yes it's a bad way to bet because it leaves a paper trail you or him can't deny.
guys i cant thank you enough for your responses and yes i do believe that texting is a bad way of doing it but he wanted to do it this way. Any ways today is the second day he has not responded and when i call his phone he doesnt answer, it goes straight to voicemail.I think im going to tell him to go screw himself cause i wanted to bet 100 on the reds today and i wanted to bet a 50 u conn -4.5 and 150 on the giants game over. if all 3 of these come in what should i do? i was down 150 till he stopped.i would have won 500 last night and whatever happens with these games today.
yes phone goes straight to voice mail. guys trust me ive played at the greek, 5 dimes, beted etc..... all of them have big problems when you win big.hell even at the big bad greek.com i wanted to bet 3000 on a game had to talk to sportsbook manager first............ it was a joke. if you guys want the rest of the long story let me know.
