Sorry Billsey for the delayed response. I wasn't watching at that time. I was just finishing up watching TVG (Horse Racing Channel). Had a play in the feature race at Keeneland. A number of us had the winner (see the Horse Racing Forum). What did I miss?

Well, for starters that was on previous to when I asked you if you were watching that (they were showing the Phoenix Stakes on ESPN2). I had the exacta. I thought the Tri paid pretty nice (still kicking myself for not playing it)...I have bet Wise Dan in the past, and always liked that horse. Anyways, they were doing a special feature on Secretariat..........Did you really think I didn't know what TVG was???? I get the channel

That's great! Had no idea you were a horse racing fan! Congratulations on hitting the exacta in the Phoenix Stakes. I was watching it on TVG. My apologies. As for Secretariat, he was one of a kind and I'm glad I was able to see him run both as a 2 year old and 3 year old. I hope the movie coming out today does him justice.

You covered it all. Pitchers, Umpire (Under 19 or 31 Games Behind The Plate), and the Ballpark. I don't expect a 1-0 game, but runs should still be hard to come by IMHO. Hansen has been lights out for an extended period of starts coming into tonight's game. My only concern is that Cain gave up 3 home runs his last outing which was out of character for the month of September where he went 26 scoreless innings in his previous 3 starts before giving up a home run to Colorado late in the game. But with 6 days rest, he should be very fresh but he generally needs to get through the 1st inning before he settles into a rhythm. Best of luck to you as well tonight! :toast:

OMT, are you going to any of the playoff Giants games? I went last night and it was my first playoff game ever(I am only 30 years old). The best game I have ever been too. I thought opening day had energy but last night was something else. GO Giants! GL with the under tonight, hopefully a 3-1 Giants victory

I wish I could, but unfortunately those days are behind me now! I remember going to a playoff game against the Cardinals which the Giants won! There is just nothing like that atmosphere. You saw a real gem last night. This is a very special team and anything is possible IMHO. A 3-1 Giants win sounds very sweet to me! Funny thing is even if I lose my play, as long as the Giants win, I'll be happy. Been waiting 52 years for San Francisco to win a World Series and it is a tough road, but I and my wife are rooting for them with everything we have. So, you can be sure I'll be watching and that will be me you hear yelling if they score and win the game. Best of luck to you tonight! :toast:
