'Bama at South Carolina. Boise won't play a game this tough all year. Just an average conference game for Alabama.

Most of the teams Boise plays would beat Furman by more than 20 though.

South Carolina is a decent team but they are not a top 10 squad. I'd compare them to Oregon State. Virginia Tech was supposed to be that top 10 team and they very well might be after destroying NC State on the road. It's funny how much a team gets downgraded after Boise whomps on em (the James Madison loss didn't help either).

I've always thought Boise could run with 'Bama at their best, but I'm now sure that the 'Bama that showed up today would get destroyed by the Broncos.

you guys can try and twist it every which way you want, but the truth still stands, Boise State, is a damn good program, and they seem to just get better every year....this is NO FLUKE, this is no ONE TRICK PONY, that just got lucky and got a star player one time, and had a good run...this team rebuilds year after year, and wins year after year....they cant help the conference they are in, they cant help what the Va Techs of the world do after they beat them, they cant help what Oregon does after they beat them last 2 years, cant help what Oregon State does later, and they cant decide what Nevada does before they get to them....

They try and schedule teams, and when anyone accepts, it seems Boise beats them.....when they finally get their crack at a BCS school, they beat them....when they finally get TCU, the other "fly int he ointment" program, THEY BEAT THEM...

Not sure why everyone wants to hate on Boise, I myself live a million miles from there, but enjoy them cuz i respect what they have been able to do in the northwest up there...its not like they can offer recruits the beaches of So. Cal, or the exposure of the SEC, or the excitement of southern Florida, but they do it year in and year out....

You may want to hate on them, but if you cant respect what they have done as a football program, than you probably dont really understand college recruiting and college sports...

Not to mention, they are repsonsible for one of the top 5 plays in college football history, closely behind the Cal/Stanford band game......

All this hate for Boise, yet the #2 team in the country has played Marshall, Eastern Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and will play Purdue, Penn State and Minnesota. Hardly a tough schedule, and arguably an easier schedule than Boise.

There is a simple way to shut up Boise, line up on the field and beat them. So far, none of these supposed powers want to do that, instead they want to continue the smear campaign against them.

it's impossible to navigate a schedule that has you at arkansas, home for florida, then at south carolina. real teams don't have weeks to focus for oregon state, when you play this type of schedule week in and week out.

Bama has Georgia State before Auburn, San Jose State before Penn State, and Duke before Arkansas. They have plenty of extra weeks to focus on other games.

Still, their schedule is obviously tough. Not saying it's not, but to say they don't have time to look ahead to games is not true.

They also have Tennessee before LSU which might as well be Georgia State the way the Vols are playing.

THIS is SEC football.

And that is exactly why a team such as a Boise, Utah, or TCU should NEVER play in the BCS National Championship Game. Period.

This is a week in/week out hammering of two heavyweights. Where as, Boise gets to take on the equivalent of a 1AA team practically every week.

Regardless where South Carolina is ranked, ends up ranked, gets ranked, whatever....they are still an SEC team, coached by one of the best in the game, and they are playing in their home stadium. THAT is what SEC football is.

Boise will go play at Utah State in front of 23,000....maybe. THAT is what they play....

played at arkansas, home for florida, at south carolina. in succession. fact.

it would take boise 3 years to play the type of games alabama played in 3 weeks.

Your example would never happen in a million years... there's no way the SEC would ever come to Boise. :)

SEC football has become a bit overrated. We saw how a supossedly inferior Utah team dismantled Alabama. TCU and Boise are just as good as anyone in the country.

Oregon State, who Boise beat down pretty nicely, is tied with a top 10 team while on the road. So much for Oregon State and Virginia Tech being weak like many haters would like to use as ammo for Boise stinking.

So are you trying to convince us that Boise schedule is as tough as the BCS schools ? Not sure you can convince anyone here with common sense that you have a argument
