Rodgers suffered the concussion on the Packers' final offensive play, and McCarthy said backup Matt Flynn would've come in during overtime had the team gotten the ball back. Proper protocol will be followed with Rodgers' concussion. We won't have a good idea about his Week 6 playing status until later in the week. He's not ruled out yet for next Sunday's clash with the Dolphins.

</TD></TR><TR><TD class=vaLink>Rodgers, who did not speak to the media on Wednesday, will apparently undergo his concussion testing early Thursday. Despite "optimism" in the Packers' organization, Rodgers' status remains very much in doubt for Week 6. His outward symptoms are not apparent, but teams have been extra cautious about concussions throughout the first five weeks of the season.

Despite his limited status, Rodgers took the majority of the first-team snaps. He'll have to be monitored throughout the rest of the week, but Rodgers is "very optimistic" about his chances of playing. "In other words, he's playing," interprets beat writer Greg Badard. Rodgers has been cleared by both the team doctor and an independent neurologist.

Rodgers practiced fully after being listed as a "limited" participant on Thursday. Coach Mike McCarthy confirmed that Rodgers is "ready to play" barring a totally unforeseen setback. Rodgers is currently the No. 4 overall fantasy QB. He should confidently be in fantasy lineups against the Fins.

Aaron Rodgers - QB - Packers SI's Peter King tweeted Monday that his "gut feeling" is Aaron Rodgers (concussion) will play in Week 15.
The Packers aren't giving any definitive updates, so we'll go with what we can even if it means pure speculation from King. We happen to agree with King's prediction, because the Packers are going to do whatever they can to get Rodgers into the lineup with their postseason hopes hanging in the balance. </TD></TR><TR><TD class=vaLink>Bedard now writes for the Globe, but he began the season reporting for the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and is familiar with McCarthy's "coachspeak" as well as the inner workings of the Packers' organization. ESPN's Adam Schefter adds that Green Bay is "preparing" as if Matt Flynn will start, which is fairly obvious considering Rodgers isn't going to practice before Friday at the soonest. Regardless, it's not looking good for Rodgers this early in the week. McCarthy will decide his status on Saturday. The Packers' NFC North chances and playoff hopes, period, are hanging in the balance.

</TD></TR><TR><TD class=vaLink>No details regarding how close Rodgers was to playing have been released, though he reportedly was not cleared by the team doctor. Matt Flynn has officially been named the team's starter, and Graham Harrell will be signed to the active roster from the practice squad. WR Greg Jennings is the only Green Bay skill player worth fantasy consideration for Week 15, as he comes in as our No. 15 wide receiver. Rodgers will likely have to pass a battery of tests before the team declares him available for Week 16.

Aaron Rodgers - QB - Packers Aaron Rodgers (concussion) revealed Tuesday that he's been cleared to play against the Giants in Week 16.
Rodgers gained clearance from team physician Dr. John Gray as well as an independent neurologist. He'll have to avoid a setback in practice, but it's a great sign that he was cleared early in the week. A playoff outlook that appeared bleak at this point last week now seems quite realistic with Rodgers back under center. The Packers will earn a wild card berth if they knock off the Giants and Bears at Lambeau Field in the final two games of the regular season. December 21 - 8:11 p.m. ET

</TD></TR><TR><TD class=vaLink>Beat writer Tom Silverstein also noted a "bounce in Rodgers' step" on the practice field. "I have 0 concerns about Aaron Rodgers, concerning his health, and he took all his normal reps for a Wednesday practice," said McCarthy. Rodgers will return as an elite QB1 against the Giants. It's still early, but the forecast for Lambeau Field Sunday calls for 14MPH winds and just a 40 percent chance of snow. Rodgers should be unaffected by the conditions.
