Pretty sure you can pay like $100 and get one sent fast.

Source: In the back of my head, I have this info. Not sure how or why. Don't quote me.

Yes, that is what it looks like online but I'm slightly paranoid until it is in my hand

I used to play golf with a guy that owned a rush passport business. It's been years, but I think it was called "Urgent Passport Services". From what I remember, he was saying they can turn things around pretty quickly. He was just starting the business at the time, and remember he was on the phone the entire round dealing with people's passport issues. Maybe check them out?

You can call the passport agency explain the situation and see how quickly you cam get in. You may have to travel to one. Sometimes appointments may not be in the city closest to you. You do get passport same day. If you can't get an appointments that way then you need to go rush passport way. Most companies are legitimate. They have time slots already for them and can go on your behalf. They are pricey. Ones in nyc area go for 200+

Was in a similar situation in April. I got the passport but I paid through the nose. By using a third party passport agency, I paid roughly 3 times the amount I would have paid by going straight to the state department.
