I love the sweet battered fish at LJS. It is very affordable too. My LJS is a KFC hybrid so I usually pick up the 5 piece combo that includes two sides (I choose mashed potatoes & gravy and seasoned potato wedges). For $6.99 its a steal, throw in my $2 off coupon at $4.99 it is larceny.

I love LJS. I affectionately call it Long Dong Silver's.

Have you tried the non-battered fish? It's not too bad but I have to have the battered fish with shrimp and clams.

just like KFC to me. Get the urge once a year and regret it for 2 days later. Something with the oil or breading does not sit well with me.

The Chicken Strips are the best IMHO as LJS. Kinda hard to screw up Chicken Strips. Good Hush Puppies as well. Can be kinda slow at times, but that is true with all Fast Food Places. The Six Dollar Burger at Hardee's with a coupon is what you are looking for though. A really fine meal for the price. Feeds me quite nicely everytime.

LJS calls them Chicken Planks. Arghhh!!! I don't go there for the chicken though. I can get chicken anywhere. I would rather buy a box of spicy chicken strips from Popeye's.

Hush puppies are good.

I got vicious food poisoning from them one time though when I was 18. I didn't eat it for like 10 years after that. Last couple years I have given in and ate it a few times.

Can't speak for "LJS"..have never made it in..but when it comes to chicken&biscuits..I hit up PIONEER all the time..jiggles my tastebuds..juicy stuff!!
