For Texas to win this game, they’ll obviously have to score some points themselves (sounds like a John Madden quote). The Longhorns have shown a very balanced offensive attack and the young Garrett Gilbert seems like he is ready to finally utilize this potential. Texas is coming off 2 straight losses but you also have to realize that they almost beat a top 10 team in Oklahoma last time out. Nebraska’s rush defense isn’t particularly strong and that will be the key for a Longhorn win. Texas will establish the running game, force the frosh Nebraska quarterback into mistakes, and take away his running lanes.
