The Royals have a nice stable of prospects on the way, but Greinke will likely become a free agent before their impact is truly felt. The reigning AL Cy Young winner has two years and $27 million left on his contract. He's coming off a disappointing year, but Greinke would become easily the best available pitcher on the market other than looming free agent Cliff Lee.
