Are you guys serious?

It sure didn't go anywhere in the theaters.

Judging by the previews and the cast of B & C actors, it looked so cheap & pathetic

Isn't this the first lead role EVER for Danny Trejo???

Heck he just had a role in the latest Predators and he lasted the whole first 20 or so minutes of the movie before they killed him off.......LOL

But, I'll take your words for it and check it out.....:toast:

I thought it was okay... But I'm getting sick of Rodriguez's campy/"over the top" style. It's always the same. Good movie to watch drunk, with friends.

LOL you could be right.

I thought he meant Michelle Rodriquez who's every part is exactly how he explained as well!

In short, ‘Machete’ is a typical crime drama: Main honcho’s family get’s chopped up, he survives and is hell bent on only existing, until the baddie drops in and offers him a lucrative deal to ‘take care’ of another baddie, who makes every Mexican’s life hell.

‘Machete’ is a no brainer of a movie, designed purely for enjoyment. It deals with pressing issues with which many countries can identify e.g. xenophobia and illegal immigration, to name but two. ‘Machete’ is an epic experience. If you enjoyed ‘Once Upon a Time in Mexico’ you will LOVE ‘Machete’!

yeah that's who i was referring to. he's done some great stuff, and i think sin city is really underrated, but... almost every film the guy makes is an homage to goofyier/campier times, and it just bugs me... but thats just imo.
