Roy Halladay threw a no hitter last time out, are you nuts, you ask....

no.......I've watched this Giants team a lot this year and somehow someway they always manage to pull these types of games out. If there is any team in the league that knows how to grind out a win with tight pitching on the mound..its the Giants. They can put you through hell but they always have that one big moment and so far this year guys like Burrell, Huff, Torres, Posey and now even Cody Ross have delivered to put this ball club over the top.

now that's not to say the Phillies have never been in the moment before or don't have guys that can't handle it.....I just feel like this Giants team has something special going for them this year. They are absolutely built for games like this and they have proved it all year long.

Giants must go against the grain tonight and be a patient ball club at the plate and make Doc work. if they can manage a way to get into the Philly bull pen around the 6th or 7th than big time advantage to San Fran.

lets do it. :toast:

Couldn't agree with your analysis more! I have this game rated a Pick! Great value. I won't be wagering on the game, but I'll be rooting for you and the Giants of course! Best of luck my friend! :toast:

I do remember and he has been absolutely clutch. Single handedly won Game 4 against the Braves and starts this one off making it 1-0 Giants and as I just wrote that, Ruiz ties it up!

can not stand Ruiz. ##)

really needed a shut down inning there. don't like giving momentum right back to Doc.

umpire is not giving Lincecum the corners AT ALL.

but he is giving Doc strikes 5 inches of the plate.

My concern is about Lincecum's middle finger. Did you notice that he was looking at it closely while on the mound in the second inning? Hopefully, he is fine. Keep an eye out for that. If he is not throwing his change up for swing throughs, something could be wrong.

I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS UMPIRE!

atleast 7 pitches already that were good strikes not called! putting Lincecum and SF behind the 8 ball wtf.

Wow! Lincecum definitely getting squeezed. Those last two pitches could have both been called strikes

well....he just went to it to get Howard to strike out there but other than that I can not remember him using it at all except for that pitch to Werth that brought him to one knee.

which is really concerning....it seems he is really using his curveball a lot more than usual.......if throwing the change up is really bothering him he's gonna need to start getting that curveball over for strikes.

lets hope Uribe isn't up anymore in big spots with RISP.

Doc eats free swingers like him alive.
