You have to agree that Oregon with it being Kelly's first game as coach weren't ready to play that game. I was ready to fire the coach the way the team was respoinding. With that being said, you wouldn't have held us down if game would have been played at a later date. I think your trying to convince yourself with these arguments about games that were played last year, etc. Fortunatly for all of us, the system doesn't agree with most of what you have to say here in this forum.
I like our back and forth. I really do.
That being said...
(overly sarcastic face is on NOW)
What the hell? Chip's a new coach? The team is suddenly learning a new offense? OH MY! The freaking Quackers had the same offensive coordinator for 3 years prior making the calls. They weren't in a new system. They weren't in a new scheme. The only difference is the offensive coordinator was the main coach now and was still in charge of play calling. Boise dominated the hell out of them. They had their 1st first down in the 3rd quarter. Could not run their bubble gum offense at all. Put Houdini in there at QB and he'd still find a way to get tackled for a 6-yard loss.
(EVEN MORE SARCASM)
You Duck fellers love to blame it on a new coaching staff. The fact of the matter is that Boise dominated you on your home turf. They then dominated you the next year on the blue. They'd dominate you again this year if the game was held in Puerto Rico. Great teams rise to the top. Oregon drowns under (aquatic animal F-ed up joke in there somewhere).
Maybe next year you guys won't struggle to beat an FBS doormat in Washington State.
