Let me clarify. The computers have them at #2. BCS has them at #6.

Not worried because they will lose some of their upcoming games, but they struggled to beat Tennessee and McNeese State. Wins at Florida and North Carolina are nice and all, but they don't deserve #2 from the computers.

Boise would beat this team by 20.

It really wasnt a struggle...had they played just about any BCS team the week after beating Fla they would have lost. Miles would never embarass an instate school. ck the box scores, many players saw their 1st ever action at LSU in that game..

Still our 2 QB system that has only 3/4's of 1 QB in it is going to fail us, prolly next week. Our defense will have to pitch some shutouts and score some points themselves for us to get by Aub, Ala and Ark......They might do it but right now i think AUB -6 is stealing money. i dont see LSU scoring an offensive TD against any of these 3 teams....it will be field goal city...

Not only this but having one of the worst coaches in the CFB on your sideline doesn't help either.

58-10 against Louisiana Tech says otherwise. Or the 45-3 against Louisiana.

Pure genius. I love calls like that. Still, the team isn't that good.

LSU isn't that good. Auburn would be a pain in the ass game for Boise State. LSU would not. It's not a conference bias or anything... Just a matchup thing.

Offense isnt any good but Boise hasnt faced a defense anywhere near LSU's. They are still balls out.

The thing about Boise is that they only put up 10-20 against good defenses. The other thing about the Broncos is that they only allow 0-17 points in games like that. The defense is incredible. People always want to give credit to the offense for scoring a million points but there are 10 starters back on defense. This is the same defense that, although much more inexperinced, didn't give up a single FIRST DOWN to Oregon (many of the same guys are back) until the freakin 3rd quarter. That's not a mistake. The same Oregon team that ran for 200+ against everyone else ran for about 30 yards against Boise.

You have to agree that Oregon with it being Kelly's first game as coach weren't ready to play that game. I was ready to fire the coach the way the team was respoinding. With that being said, you wouldn't have held us down if game would have been played at a later date. I think your trying to convince yourself with these arguments about games that were played last year, etc. Fortunatly for all of us, the system doesn't agree with most of what you have to say here in this forum.

I like our back and forth. I really do.

That being said...

(overly sarcastic face is on NOW)

What the hell? Chip's a new coach? The team is suddenly learning a new offense? OH MY! The freaking Quackers had the same offensive coordinator for 3 years prior making the calls. They weren't in a new system. They weren't in a new scheme. The only difference is the offensive coordinator was the main coach now and was still in charge of play calling. Boise dominated the hell out of them. They had their 1st first down in the 3rd quarter. Could not run their bubble gum offense at all. Put Houdini in there at QB and he'd still find a way to get tackled for a 6-yard loss.

(EVEN MORE SARCASM)

You Duck fellers love to blame it on a new coaching staff. The fact of the matter is that Boise dominated you on your home turf. They then dominated you the next year on the blue. They'd dominate you again this year if the game was held in Puerto Rico. Great teams rise to the top. Oregon drowns under (aquatic animal F-ed up joke in there somewhere).

Maybe next year you guys won't struggle to beat an FBS doormat in Washington State.
