When I joined Betonline the agent assigned to my account offered me a a $1000 freeplay as a joining bonus.
I asked the agent if horse racing action was considered as action
toward the rollover and he assured me it was. He said he had many
customers who only played horses and it was no problem. After
betting well over the rollover amount I used my $1000 Bonus Play
and bet $1000 on a baseball game. I lost the baseball game and
therefore had nothing to show from the freeplay.
I won $20,000 over the course of a couple months and they cut me off
from the race book. I submitted a request for a payout.
I received an email from Betonline the next day telling me that I would have
to forfeit my $1000 if I received a payout now since I had not met my rollover.
I called and told them I had been assured that horse racing action counts
toward the rollover and would like to speak to a supervisor. Charlie
Haynes came on the phone and told me he had been listening to
the tapes of when I had joined. He said that yes I had been told that
horse racing action counts toward the rollover but that this was incorrect
and unfortunately the agent who told me that was no longer with them. He
said I would have to bet $27,000 in the sportsbook to meet my rollover. 9 times
the original amount of $3,000, $2,000 plus the $1,000 freeplay. I told him that if he wanted to cancel my bonus
that was fine. I don't go looking for bonus'. But first of all I lost my freeplay so
I gained nothing from it and if he wanted to say the freeplay was still used, a $1000
freeplay is only worth $500. By even the most generous standards they have stolen
$500 from me. I went thru the freeplay vs cash with Charlie Haynes. If it was $1000
cash and I bet and won I would have $2000. If it was $1000 freeplay and I bet and won
I would have $1000. He said right because its a freeplay. I said so $1000 freeplay can't
be the same as a $1000 cash. Charlie Haynes said it was clear as day that $1000 freeplay
was the same as $1000 cash and I was beating them pretty bad anyway.
They did pay the rest of the money as quickly as they deem adviseable. $5000 a week
so as to not alert my bank.
