I imagine if its an online book it just sits there. Once you deposit in an online account it isn't cash anymore it is just credit.

one of my players passed very recently and I gave his winnings to his mom. it should go to the family but if it happened that he owed me I would definitely eat it.......

I'm with Steak here, as it's Usually where the Gambler is the one that owes the Book.

But if you Leave a account # and password somewhere, where your Family can find it...after your passing.
Someone can try to get that money out. Even if you tell the truth, you should be able to get those funds.

I would think you would only have to present a death certificate to get the funds from an offshore book. Maybe a copy of the will to show who is the beneficiary is.

Little known rule. All such funds automatically are placed on a futures bet for the Cubs to win the World Series.

I had a player fake a death once .........Put a obituary in a paper an all .
Months later was at a shop in Brooklyn an he came to collect from a friend who took his action under a different name .
It was quite comical ..........when he saw me there he looked like a ghost ..........had a good laugh about it ........then I got paid .

Happened twice to me. Both times reached out to the wife. One time she wanted the money, the other she wanted it donated to a specific charity.

I can tell you first hand. My brother died in March and he was in the process of asking for a payout but he never got around to it because he was so sick. He gave his wife and me the account information shortly before he passed and after producing a death certificate all his money was sent and received. I believe he had about 5k in two books. Always write down your account info and give it to someone and let them know your balances.
