I know its early but watching the end of that game got me thinking about tomorrow night

Cain on the bump at home. With the Giants winning 1 at Philly im thinking AT&T Park should be pretty electric tomorrow night.

+103 ML looking interesting what do you think? :think2:

I see a repeat of the performance of Lee in Hamels outing tomorrow afternoon. Phillie's bats are starting to heating up and Hamel's lights out when he's on....

BOL to whatever you pick

im really liking hamels more and more hes been lights out plus phillys offense is too good if hamels gets a 1-2 run lead i dont see the giants stringing together a couple hits to get back in it

A pitchers' park that has only made the Majors' best pitching staff better, AT&T Park has not been a particularly friendly place for Hamels, to the tune of a 6.12 career ERA. And the left-leaning Phillies won't be so cozy either, with a corner in right-center pulling the gap there to 421 feet, with a 30-foot wall running toward right field. A lefty pull hitter can still do damage, but it's not the most inviting place for left-handers to bat.

Cain a 2.75 ERA @ home this year.

Giants are a totally different ball club at home. their bats will come alive this game. don't be surprised if this game goes against the grain and is high scoring.

Giants at home but it's Cain's first career playoff appearance and you never know what to expect in a situation like this. So I would lean on the phils or the over. Even though the giants whole pitching staff has been great the last month and a half.

Regular season stats mean 0 to me when capping a postseason game.

I mean lets take cliff lee for example. The guy was i believe 12-9 in the regular season and in the postseason cant be hit.

Hungry players step their game up since its a much more meanfull game then the regular season where they can afford to take a night or 2 off therefore i think reg season stats dont mean a whole lot come this time of the year but thats me.

I like the Phillies a lot tomorrow. Bochy is committing the cardinal sin of managing in the postseason, and that's showing a lack of faith in your players. Benching Torres for Renteria is sending a negative message, and except for Ross, this lineup just isn't getting it done offensively. Philly picked up some confidence in game 2 with their bats, and Hamels said he is locked in and ready to pitch. I have to take his word because he pitched brilliantly in Cincy which has a better lineup than sf imo. Cain has shown me in the Atlanta game and that intense Padres game that he is hittable, and that he doesn't command the overpowering stuff that Hamels has in his arsenal. He may pitch well, but I am expecting 2-3 runs off of him. This giant lineup doesn't impress me at all today, I can't remember the last time i saw renteria leading off in a game.

Glad I didnt make my move yesterday. Line has jumped to +127 for the Giants. Phils seem to be getting hit hard.

I may follow you all and take Phils. Don't like the Giants lineup today. Rowand and Renteria? 33 and 35 respectively? I don't think puttin in the vets is going to get it done for the Giants. Uribe also could still be feeling a sore wrist. and Sandoval remains on the bench. Unless cody ross hits 3 bombs, I dont think giants have enough firepower. By playing reteria and rowand you get rid of all speed in the lineup, thus relying on the long ball. I think in order to beat the phils you will have to play some small ball, get some steals and sac bunts and hope to squeak a few runs in. Cant rely on cody ross's bat in everygame.

Phils in this one.

I am sorry I made you lose your wager and the flip flop action. This Philly offense really fooled me.
